LADR--Helping LA Climb Back
The LADR Handbook is intended for LA and CA residents who have lost homes, jobs/incomes and businesses from the 2025 wildfires. The handbook endeavors to provide a free resource of government links and information to help all impacted people get the aid they need to climb back and recover, fostering resilience and hope.
Dear LA loved ones,
Welcome to a handbook of links and information of Los Angeles Disaster Relief from FEMA, CA State and LA County for those impacted by the fires. This LA Disaster Recovery Links & Info Handbook is a 100% volunteer effort from a community member for our beloved community and not associated with any government entity or business involved in disaster relief or recovery. I am a member of the community who has been a volunteer running the food tent that fed 1st responders in the days after 9/11 and other natural disasters and terrorist events. I co-founded and co-own a company based in Los Angeles and have the trust and support of other community leaders in this effort to help our community recover as quickly as possible. (CLICK HERE FOR BIO).
In this LADR Handbook, you will find as complete as possible information and links available to date from FEMA, California State and LA County. This site is ever-changing as new relief becomes available, known and approved. For those who use this and see additional or updated relief, contact us to update. The purpose of this site is to distill the government relief through info and links into one organized handbook or site based on priorities of needs, starting with financial assistance for essentials, food, housing, job & income and business losses, among other critical areas like pets, mental health, tax relief, student relief and more. We will help you “climb back” better and stronger than ever.
All my love and support, Michael Dru Kelley

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) offers financial help to businesses and private, non-profit organizations in declared disaster areas. We provide long-term, low-interest loans for losses that insurance and other sources don’t cover.
It is not just for small businesses.
The Business & Industry (B&I) Guaranteed Loan Program helps boost the existing private credit structure of rural communities. The program does this through loan guarantees for rural businesses. These guarantees then allow private lenders to extend more credit than they would normally be able to.
